Matthew Shepard Still Alive After 13 Years

University of Wyoming student Matthew Wyne Shepard (Living in Peace) born on December 1st, 1976. He was brutally tortured and left to die between the 6th-7th of October 1998. On October 12th Matthew Wyne Shepard died in Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado due to the severe head injuries.


However, during the trial several unbelievable facts come forward and one of many facts and the main reason of Matthew Wyne Shepard murder was his sexual orientation. However, Matthew’s murder brought national and international at one desk to think about the upcoming future of sex orientation generation. 

A book "The Meaning of Matthew: My Son's Murder in Laranie, and a World Transformed' was authored by Matthew's mother Judy Shepard. The United America Congress passed the James Byrd, Jr. and Matthew Shepard Hate Crime Prevention Act and named as "Matthew Shepard Act for short." President Obama accepted and signed the statutory into law.

  1. It was really a shocking news of that time, I still remembered that i was listening news and then suddenly a splash news passed through my ears that Matthew Shepard has been brutally killed, i then find out the story of that boy, and fact made me really sad.

  4. I think that was the darkest era not only USA's but also it was all over in the world. However, agreed to web design that Matthew Shepard wasn't the only who abused because of the sexual orientation. There are countless unknown entities who's lives had become miserable.
